Welcome! My name is Tara and I'm a trauma-informed integrative wellness coach. I empower you with concrete tools to address the root cause of your health challenges that are preventing you from thriving as your best self. Treating symptoms will not create lasting change.  Addressing the root cause while integrating individually tailored self-care practices WILL create lasting change. It is the catalyst to transformation. Trust me, I know from personal experience. I thought my master's degree in nutrition and exercise would provide me with all the answers I needed to be well and live well. Turns out I was completely wrong...

How I work with clients...

1:1 Coaching

I use a client-centered, relational approach to working with individuals collaboratively to address the health and wellbeing of the whole person. It acknowledges the interdependent roles of mind, body, and spirit, and the innate healing capacity within each person, with an emphasis on self-care. I form a partnership with individuals to empower and support them in achieving their personal goals related to optimal health and wellness.

Group Coaching

I use the same approach as in 1:1 coaching sessions, but within a group setting. The current healthcare system isn't sustainable, it's a temporary fix. A bandaid. It's simply not working long term. With group coaching, I connect with people on a level that other providers can't provide due to flaws and hurdles in our healthcare system. This compassionate model empowers individuals within a group setting to achieve personal goals related to optimal health and wellness.

I have lost over 50 pounds since working with Tara. I was first interested in working with her because honestly, I knew I needed a kick in the pants. It was helpful to bounce ideas off of her and get feedback and Tara provides a safe, non-judgmental space for me to be genuine. The process made me re-evaluate some of the choices I had been making for myself, especially in regards to nutrition. I now have the confidence to confront nutrition challenges and tools to hold myself accountable. My mindset regarding nutrition has improved, and I continue to be mindful about what I put into my body which helps me feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally.
